What is LBD?
LBD (Little Black Dress) is a New York-based style consultancy founded by fashion editor and expert Becky MacCurtain. LBD was built on the idea that fashion is personal and that each woman has her own distinct style that reflects her individual personality, taste, and lifestyle. At LBD, we are focused on providing clients with personal attention through a unique experience that will help them discover, elevate and own their style.

About LBD
Becky MacCurtain, fashion expert and founder of LBD Style Consulting is an avid shopper and lover of all things style. She spent the first decade of her career working as a fashion editor and stylist at some of the world’s leading women’s magazines including Marie Claire, CosmoGIRL, and MORE. Along the way, Becky developed strong relationships with top designers and retailers and worked alongside some of the biggest names in the fashion industry.
Becky has long been a “go to” for friends, family, colleagues, (and the occasional stranger!) for style advice. She started LBD after a friend who is a busy, working mom mentioned how unfair it was that only celebrities had personal stylists and how much easier her life would be if she had an expert to help with her wardrobe. Becky believed that she was uniquely qualified to provide that kind of customized, personal experience to women and with that, LBD was born!
For the past seven years she has worked one-on-one with countless women of all backgrounds, professions and budgets helping them discover their styles and build their dream wardrobes at LBD.
When she’s not shopping, Becky resides in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and daughter.
